There are few things more sinfully delicious than a good cherry Bakewell tart. Generations of bakers have worked hard to perfect the combination of that thick layer of sugar icing, the almondy filling, and the little candy cherry on top, and now we have taken it one step further.
Our Cherry Bakewell Whisky sour is exactly what the name says. The smooth citrus and whisky base blends perfectly with funky cherry and sweet almond flavours to form a complex drink that's almost impossible to put down once you've had your first sip.
Proceed with caution. Bakewell tarts only come in packs of six, but you can have as many of these as you want.
Loads of smooth Scottish Highland whisky, freshly squeezed lemon juice, funky cherry liqueur, almond orgeat syrup, and our top-secret cherry sauce. The fresh lemon juice may form sediment, give a good shake before serving.
How to serve
Stick it in the freezer for half an hour and pour into a tumbler glass full of ice.
Make it fancy
Shake hard with half an egg white and a cup of ice cubes in a cocktail shaker (or a protein shaker or an empty jam jar) for that delicious frothy texture. Garnish with a glacé cherry.
