The enchanting properties of Turkish Delight are well documented, perhaps most famously as a means for the The White Witch to control poor Edmund in the kingdom of Narnia. Rest asured, however, that despite the enchanting, and perhaps slightly addictive, nature of this cocktail, no evil will come to those who allow themselves to give in to their desires to experience it first-hand.
While Turkish Delight comes in many varieties throughout the world, we have gone for the chocolate-covered rose water type for our iteration.
We've tamed the powerful rose water with a delightful mixture of fresh gin, indulgent crème de cacao, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a few dashes of Peychaud bitters.
Whether you want that bazaar browsing experience or just want to roleplay your favourite fantasy novel, the Delightful Turkish Delight is the perfect potion to transport you away to all kinds of faraway lands.
Treat it like a sour and shake it with an egg white for maximum indulgence.
Gin, crème de cacao, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar syrup, rose water, and Peychaud bitters
How to serve
Stick it in the freezer for half an hour, shake over ice, and pour into your fanciest glass. Garnish with dried rose petals or a thin slice of Turkish delight.
Make it fancy
To get the full experience, you really want to treat this one as a sour and shake it with an egg white. Add a small egg white to a cold bottle and shake vigorously for 30 seconds (it's a long time but it's worth it). Then add ice and shake vigorously until your container feels cold. Pour into a fancy glass and garnish with dried rose petals.
