Oh, shortbread biscuit, you lovely tea time treat. Crumbly, buttery, and usually coated in sugar, if only there was a way to turn you into a cocktail... Turns out that with a bit of imagination and a lot of coffee filters, we were able to infuse tasty vodka with actual crunched up shortbread biscuits, resulting in a lovely creamy biscuit flavour.

We went down the sour cocktail path with this one, blending the shortbread vodka with freshly squeezed lemon juice, amaretto, and some lovely jammy wild strawberry liqueur. 

You'll want to shake this one with a small egg white for 30-45 seconds before shaking it with ice to turn it into a fluffy dessert of a cocktail.

Shortbread-infused vodka, freshly squeezed lemon juice, amaretto, and crème de fraise de bois.

How to serve

Store in the fridge and shake over ice. Serve with shortbread biscuits and strawberry jam or a few freeze-dried strawberries crumbled up on top.

Make it fancy

Shake vigorously with a small egg white for 30-45 seconds before adding ice and shaking again to form a lovely shortbread meringue on top of the cocktail. It's worth the extra effort.
