Violet has been known as the colour of royalty, emperors, and empresses throughout the ages, and the beautiful Water Lily would certainly not feel out of place at a royal banquet or in a pre-Raphaelite painting. The mesmerising exterior leads the palate on a journey laden with refreshing citrus and enticing floral violet flavours.
Our entry into the pantheon of exquisite violet combines refreshing gin, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and orange and violet liqueurs to give a complex yet surprisingly approachable experience.
Fit for a king or a queen, the Water Lily is a delight you just can't stop sipping. The good thing is, you don't have to!
Citrusy London Dry gin, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sweet orange liqueur, and floral violet liqueur. The fresh lemon juice may form sediment, give a good shake before serving.
How to serve
Stick it in the freezer for half an hour, give it a good shake for a nice thin layer of foam, and pour into a stemmed glass.
Make it fancy
Shake hard with half an egg white and a cup of ice cubes in a cocktail shaker (or a protein shaker or an empty jam jar) for that delicious frothy texture. No need to garnish this pretty thing!
